The Veracities of Velocities

The other day I wrote how videos & photos are usually rare creatures when it comes to homo-centric.  I'm happy to find that the May 17th reading was well covered with both.  Yesterday I posted a video of Justin Huang.  Today I have not one but two videos of Ryka Aoki reading from her book Seasonal Velocities. 

The reading on the 17th was the Los Angeles book launch for Velocities as well as the debut readings for Justin and Albert Serna.  The evening was a great success with over 40 people attending and many buying Ryka's book.  You can buy your own copy of Seasonal Velocities from Trans Genre publishing.  Thanks to Susan Forrest and Talia Bettcher for sharing the video and photos.

homo-centric is a monthly reading series curated by Hank Henderson. The series is hosted by Stories Books & Cafe in Echo Park and takes place the 3rd Thursday of every month.
